It’s that magical time again—New York Fashion Week (NYFW)! The energy in the city is electric, and the streets truly become a runway. Every February and September, the fashion world gathers in New York to celebrate creativity, artistry, and bold personal style.
I’ll never forget my first Fashion Week in February 2017—it was one of the most unforgettable experiences of my career. Since then, I’ve had the honor of attending multiple seasons, styling looks that made me feel like the best-dressed woman in every room (and on every street!).
This year, I’m excited to share not just my best NYFW tips for attending shows, but also the styling wisdom I give to all my Queens who want to feel confident and magnetic at Fashion Week—or any event in life.
How to Attend New York Fashion Week

So many women ask me: “Do I need to be famous or invited to get into NYFW shows?” The answer is no, Queen—it’s actually easier than you think!
1. Reach Out Directly
The best way to score a seat at your favorite designer’s show is to send an email to the designer or their PR agency. You can usually find contact info on their website or social media. Share why you’d love to attend, mention if you’re a blogger, creator, or fashion lover, and let your passion shine through.
2. Show Up and Try
If you don’t hear back, don’t give up! Many shows allow walk-ins after ticket holders are seated. This is especially true for emerging designers, who put on some of the most creative and inspiring shows of the week. I’ve seen friends walk in without tickets and get incredible seats—sometimes even better than mine!
3. Experience the Streets
Even if you don’t get into a show, just being in New York during Fashion Week is worth it. The street style is iconic. Photographers are everywhere, and the city is alive with energy. Sometimes the best inspiration happens outside the shows.
What to Wear to New York Fashion Week

Here’s my golden rule, Queens: every street is your runway.
You don’t need head-to-toe designer to stand out. My go-to formula:
Statement blazer or bold coat
Chic essentials like tailored denim or trousers
Unexpected detail (sequins with denim, polka dots with stripes)
Jewelry that activates your Queen energy—because accessories are what turn an outfit into a moment.
Why NYFW Matters
Fashion Week isn’t just about watching shows—it’s about transformation, inspiration, and connection. It’s about stepping into your power, feeling magnetic, and expressing your most authentic self.
When I dress for NYFW, I’m not just putting on clothes—I’m aligning with the woman I’m becoming. And that’s the real secret: when you dress like a Queen, the universe responds.

Whether you’re attending a show, walking the streets, or just soaking in the vibes from afar, remember: fashion is about more than what you wear. It’s about how it makes you feel.
